School District 2 and various Community Partners Invite you to a Symposium on Mental Health to be held on Tuesday, May 8th from 7 pm - 9 pm at Bernice MacNaughton High School. Doors open at 6:00 pm for those interested in visiting the kiosks. A recepetion will follow the presentation.

Soceer Registration for ages 4-12 will take place at the village office Friday, May 11th from 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm and Saturday, May 12th from 10:00 am until noon. Baseball and Toddler registrations will also be done at this time. For further information please call 372-3226.

Our Grade 4 classes are travelling to the Tantramar Wetlands on Thursday, May 3rd. Please make sure that you dress for the weather and that you bring your lunch and snack with you. We will be leaving first thing in the morning and returning to school just after 1:00 pm. Please note, we will be going rain or shine.

Thanks to everyone who supported our recent fundraiser for this worthy cause. We had set the goal of raising $400.00 in a week. The good news is we met and exceeded our goal raising $618.00!!!

Parents and Guardians are reminded that there is no school for students three days in May. Friday May 4th all staff will be attending Provincial Professional Development meetings. On May 18th teachers will be attending the Annual General Meeting for our associaton. May 21st all schools will be closed for Victoria Day.

 We hople everyone enjoyed their Christmas Break. Classes begin on January 10th for all students. We have been lucky with the weather so far this weather, but please remember to dress for the weather. Children are outside most days and should have hats, mitts, boots and snowpants. It's no fun to be outside and be cold!
